2 Tbs. salt
1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning (or sage)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 egg

Mix all ingredients and use as baste when grilling chicken.

Greg and Kevin were friends with the Smith boys in Corning, NY. Their parents owned a farm, raising milk cows and chickens. Being tired of barbecue sauce recipes, Joanne Smith came up with this and passed it along. It's still a favorite and brings back lots of memories for our boys!
