1 can lima beans, drained
1 can red kidney beans, drained
1 can pork and beans
1/2 lb. bacon
1 large onion
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. brown sugar
2 cloves garlic or garlic powder
1 tsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
1. Fry bacon; add onion and fry until glossy
2. Add vinegar, sugar, garlic and mustard.
Simmer 20 min.
3. Add to beans. Bake 1 hr. uncovered at
350º

Brenda Young was a friend of ours in Belton, MO. There were 5 couples who used to take turns "hosting" weekend dinners. No matter what Brenda served as the main course, she ALWAYS had these beans. Some of the combinations were quite interesting! She also prided herself on her "homemade" pies too... always a Mrs. Smith's!
