1 cp Shortening,
2 1/2 cp Cake Flour,
2 cp Sugar,
4 Eggs, seperated,
1 tsp Baking Soda,
1 cp Buttermilk,
1 pkg. German Chocolate,
1/2 cp Boiling Water,
1/4 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
1- Cream shortening and sugar. Add slightly beaten egg yolks. Sift flour and add alternately with the buttermilk in which baking soda has been dissolved.
2- Add chocolate to boiling water and cool. Add to flour mixture when cool; then gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
3- Bake at 350º for 35 to 40 mins.
