Molasses Sugar Cookies Recipe

1 1/2 c shortening
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
4 tsp baking soda
4 c. flour
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Melt shortening - allow to cool
Mix shortening, sugar, molasses and eggs.
Add in dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly
Form into 1 inch balls. Roll in suguar and place on cookie sheet.

Bake 375 for 10 minutes for soft cookie longer for hard cookies
