Crust:
2 c. large pretzels, mashed with rolling pin
¾ c. melted butter
3 T. sugar

Cream Filling:
1 8-oz. package cream cheese (softened)
1 c. or small can of drained crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 8-oz. tub of cool whip

Raspberry topping:
1 6-oz. package of raspberry Jell-O
1 ½ to 2 cups frozen raspberries

Directions:

For crust, combine ingredients and press down in a 9x13 glass pan. Bake at 400º for 4-5 minutes. Cool before adding next layer. Add cream filling. Then, prepare jello with 2 cups of boiling water. Add frozen raspberries. Cool until syrupy before pouring over other layers.

My grandma Patten often prepared this dessert. I remember as a child I didn’t like the pretzel crust, but now I love it!
