1 C. Flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 C. Milk
1 Egg
2 T. Sugar
5 or 6 Tart Apples

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add milk and well beaten eggs. Mix well. Peel and core apples. Cut in sections. Dip each piece of apple in the batter and let fry in a deep hot fat, until brown. Drain on ungreased paper and sprinkle with powder sugar.
