1 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup white corn syrup
1 cup peanuts
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp.. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together in a 1 1/2 qt. micro-wave casserole sugar and corn syrup and micro-wave on HIGH 4 minutes. Stir in peanuts; micro-wave on HIGH 3 to 5 minutes, until light brown. Add butter and vanilla blend well. Micro-wave on HIGH 1 to 2 minutes. Peanuts will be lightly browned and syrup very hot. Add baking soda and gently stir until light and foamy. Pour mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Let cool 1 hour. When cool, break into small pieces and store in airtight container.

If raw peanuts are used, add before micro-waving to the sugar-syrup mixture along with 1/8 tsp. salt.
