1 cup dark Karo syrup
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten well
1/4 lb ( 1 stick ) butter, melted
1 cup pecans
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together Karo syrup and sugar. Beat well. Add eggs stirring until well blended. Mix in butter and salt. Pour into prepared 9 inch piecrust. Sprinkle pecans over the top. Bake at 375 degrees 40-50 minutes.

The Lowell Inn is a lovely old Inn in Stillwater, Mn.
We've celebrated many happy ocassions there.
The recipe is from an old neighbor who used to work there when she was in high school. The pie is
great served with vanilla ice cream or a little whipping cream. It's been a Thanksgiving dessert for many years.
