1/4 c sugar
1 c water
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp butter
1 tbsp cornstarch
dash of salt
1 tbsp lemon rind
nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in water and lemon juice until mixture is smooth. Add grated lemon rind. Cook over moderate heat until thick and clear. Stir often. Remove from heat and add butter; stir until melted. Sprinkle on nutmeg.
