2 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp nutmeg
4 to 5 c finely dices apples
1/2 c butter
2 1/2 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c chopped walnuts
2 eggs beaten
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Add apples, nuts, butter and eggs. Batter is think. Bake in greased tube pan 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours in 325º oven. Top will spring back when done. Cool on rack.
