Ingredients:

Mix in Bowl:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda

Bring to Boil:
2 sticks oleo or butter
4 Tablespoons cocoa Powder
1 cup water
Mix in flour mixture & beat well. Pour into greased pan.
Bake 20 minutes @ 350'

Frosting:
Mix in bowl:
1 pound box powdered sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to boil:
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons milk
1 stick oleo or butter

Pour into powdered sugar &mix well. Pour over cake while
cake is still warm.

Directions:
Directions:
Bake the Texas cake in a jelly roll pan. (The one with the
edges.) This will make a thin cake , all the better to absorb
the yummy frosting.
