8 slices pineapple
1/2 c margarine
1 1/2 c light brown sugar
Maraschino cherries
1/2 c pecans
Cake:
2 c self rising flour
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c shortening
1 c milk
2 eggs
2 T pineapple juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a 10" iron skillet combine the margarine, brown sugar, and nuts. Arrange pineapple slices and place a cherry in the center of each slice.Place this to the side.Mix all the ingredients for the cake together until smooth. Pour over the topping in the iron skillet. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Carefully turn skillet onto a large plate.
