2 1/2 c whole wheat flour
8 T flax seed
1 1/2 T nonfat dry milk
1 tsp salt
2 packets of sugar substitute
3 T molasses
1 c hot water
1 package of yeast

Optional Additions:
Chopped fruit such as prunes, raisins, blueberries, etc.
Chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Add molasses. Put yeast in cup of hot water to dissolve. Then add to mixing bowl. You may then add any optional additions you choose. Stir and then knead to make dough. Will be a bit dry. Put in small loaf pan and bake at 350º for about 15 minutes or until done. Slice and store in refrigerator in zip lock bag.

I adapted a recipe from the back of flax seed box to make this bread. I usually add prunes and sometimes pecans. Gary says this is way too healthy for him. I eat it for my dessert.
