20 starlight mints (finely crushed)
12 oz. bag white chocolate morsels
2 Tbsp vegetable shortening
6 oz. bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbsp vegetable shortening

1. Crush starlight mints in a food processor or in a heavy duty plastic bag with a meat pounder.
2. Melt white chocolate morself in microwave with 2 Tbsp of vegetable shortening about 1 minute until melted.
3. Stir in crushed mints.
4. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls into waxed-paper lined cookie sheets. Smooth the top of each patty.
5. Refridgerate about 30 minutes to harden.
6. Melt semi-sweet chocolate morsels in microwave with 1 tbsp vegetable shortening about 1 minute until melted.
7. Dip peppermint patties in chocolate halfway and then place on waxed paper.
8. Let stand about 1 hour to set chocolate

Yield: About 25 Patties
