2 potatoes, sliced thin
1 onion, sliced thin
1 tsp butter for each layer (cut in small pieces)
1 T flour, sprinkled on each layer
1/4 tsp pepper, sprinkled on each layer
1/4 tsp salt, sprinkled on each layer
1 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Use a large covered dish 4-5 quarts and only fill 3/4 full with the ingredients.
Layer above ingredients starting with potatoes.
Add milk, cover and place on a cookie sheet as it may boil over.
Bake at 375 deg. for an hour or until potatoes are soft.
