1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. crisco
1 c. peanut butter
2 tsp. baking soda
1 package (11 oz.) large milk chocolate kisses
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 375º F. Beat together sugar, brown sugar, shortening and peanut butter. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to peanut butter mixture and beat well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Rolls into additional granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven, press one kiss into center of cookie. Return to oven & cook 3 minutes longer.
