Carmelita Bars Recipe

2 C. Flour

2 C. Quick Cooking Oats

1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar

1 1/2 C. Melted Butter

1 tsp. Baking Soda

12. oz. Chocolate Chips

1 jar Carmel Topping (Mrs. Richardson)

6 T. Flour

1 tsp. Salt

Mix together flour, oats, sugar, butter, salt, and baking soda.

Put 1/2 the mixture into a 9X13 greased pan. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with chips and carmel (mix 6 T. flour with the carmel).

Sprinkle remaining oats and sugar mixture on top and bake an additional 20 minutes.

Cool then cut.
