1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 egg yolk
2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c milk chocolate or semi-sweet real chocolate chips
1/2 c milk chocolate English toffee chips*
*You may substitute 1 (1.4 oz) milk chocolate English toffee candy bar, crushed

Heat oven to 325º. Combine sugar and butter in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy (1 to 2 minutes). Add egg yolk; continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low. Add flour; beat until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes). Press evenly onto bottom of ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Bars will be soft.

Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips; let stand 3 minutes. Swirl chips slightly with table knife or back of spoon. Sprinkle with toffee chips. Cool 1 hour; cut into bars with sharp knife while slightly warm.
