1 head cabbage, washed and quartered (remove outer leaves)
2 - 3 tbsp olive oil or butter
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

Add two to three tablespoons of olive oil or butter to pan. Place cabbage quarters in pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper and brown on both sides on medium heat. After both sides are browned, lower heat to low and cover. Cook until tender. Serve with lamb, pork, beef or chicken or great by itself.
