12 large apples
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsps lemon juice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
dash ground cloves

Topping:
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup nuts, chopped
dash cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples. Add sugar , spices and lemon juice. Mix together and pour into 9X13 baking dish. Blend topping ingredients with a pastry cutter until crumbly. Place over apple mixture evenly. Bake at 350º for 45-60 minutes until bubbly and slightly brown on top.
