2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup crisco
2 eggs
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup flour
1/1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt. Cream sugar, crisco. Add eggs one at a time and beat on medium speed until smooth and light. Add nuts, bananas, vanilla. Add sifted ingredients and mix at low speed. Bake in geased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
