Mom's Cranberry Bread Recipe

1/4 cup Shorting
1/4 cup Water
2 Eggs
4 cups Flower
2 cups Sugar
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1tbsp Baking Powder
1 cup Orange Juice
1 lb Cranberries washed stemmed,haves (do not grind)

Preheat oven to 350* Heat shorting 1 cup of water togather untill shorting is melted.
Beat eggs in large bowl.
Sift flower sugar salt soda and baking powder together.
Add orange juice water and melted shortning to eggs beat well. Add dry ingredients slowly.
fold in cranberries .
Bake in greased loaf pans which have greased wax paper in the bottoms. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until top is brown and springs back when pressed.
