2 eggs
1 C. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 C. chopped apples
1/2 C. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 2 eggs with sugar until light, add almond extract. Mix dry ingredients together with wire whisk and add to the egg and sugar mixture. Add chopped apples and nuts and stir until mixed well. Bake in ungreased pan 30 - 35 minutes at 350.

Recipe does not mention icing, so it must be a bread-like cake which does not require any icing. Jessie Roberts was Mom's aunt, married to Paul Roberts' brother, Claire Roberts. They lived in Meadville, Pa.
