2 T. butter or margarine
1 T. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 small onion, chopped
3 T. cooking sherry or white wine
1 C. sour cream
3 pkgs. frozen green beans
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
Directions:
Directions:
Blend flour and margarine together and add salt, sugar, pepper and sherry or wine until it resembles cream sauce. Add lightly sauteed onion. Blend in sour cream and cook mixture over low heat to form thin sauce. Cook cut up green beans for five minutes and place in an 8x8 caserole pan. Pour sauce over beans and top with 1/2 lb. grated swiss cheese. Bake at 350 for 25-30 mins.
