5 slices dry bread
6 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
5 c. milk
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk. Beat eggs, add remaining ingredients & pour over bread. Bake 1 hour @ 350º.

Butter Sauce
2 cups water
1 1/2 C sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbls corn starch
2 tbls butter 1 tbls vanilla
Boil 1 min. Pour over each cut square of bread pudding before serving.
