1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 pkg. candy kisses or chocolate stars
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, peanut butter, brown and white sugars. Add egg, milk and vanilla to creamed ingredients. Sift and add dry ingredients. Roll into balls and roll into white sugar. Bake at 375ºF for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and put chocolate on each cookie. Return to oven for 2 more minutes.
