Ingredients: 8 slices of round steak pounded to 1/4 inch thick 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard 1 large onion sliced 3 tbl oil 16 strips of bacon 8 dill spears flour to coat beef broth to cover meat and for gravy 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup flour

Directions:Season meat with salt and mustard. Saute onion and divide over meat. Place pickle in center of meat and roll into a sausage shape. Wrap with Bacon and secure with toothpicks. Dredge each piece of meat in seasoned flour and fry in oil in frypan till browned. Add enough beef broth to cover rolls and continue to cook for 45 minutes till meat is tender and broth is cooked down. Remove rolls and add butter and flour to make a roux. Add broth and whisk to make gravy. Add beef rolls to gravy and reheat. Serve with noodles and red cabbage |

Notes: I have also make this recipe in the crock pot on low for 6 hours. Do not wrap in bacon if you prepare this way instead fry bacon and add pieces to the center of the roll. Prepare the gravy in a pan and add rolls to reheat.
