3 or 4 bananas
6 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. self rising flour
1 stick margarine
4 c. milk
1 box vanilla wafers
MERINGUE:
6 egg whites
1/4 tsp. vanilla
6 tsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook in double boiler stirring often until texture thickens. Pour into a large Pyrex dish. Layer vanilla wafers and thinly sliced bananas ending with layer of wafers into a separate bowl. You will have 3 layers of wafers and 2 layers of bananas. Pour custard over bananas and wafers. Prepare meringue and spread on top.

Meringue:
Add vanilla to sugar and set aside. Beat (with hand mixture) until peak is formed. Add sugar all at once and beat until stiff peaks form. Spread over pudding.
