2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sour milk
2 1/2 to 3 cups finely chopped rhubarb
3/4 shortening
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Use 1/3 cup of the sugar mixed with cinnamon for topping cream sugar and shortening, Add soda to the soured milk. (To sour milk add 1/2 tablespoon vinegar) Mix well. Add flour and mix well. Put in 1 1/2 cup of rhubarb in the mixture. Pour into 9 x13 inch greased cake pan. Sprinkle 3/4 to 3 cup rhubarb over the top. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the cake and bake in a 350º preheated oven until done. It will take at lease 30 to 40 minutes. Cake should spring back. Test with a tooth pick. It should come out clean.
