Delicious Fried Okra

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw - 1 lb. package of sliced okra.

Pour 3 – 4 T. of oil into a large skillet and heat on medium until hot.

Add the okra and ½ of a small onion, chopped fine.

Cook until soft and beginning to brown, stirring often.

Add ½ cup yellow corn meal and salt and pepper generously.

Continue to cook for a few minutes until the corn meal has coated all of the okra and is beginning to brown, stirring often.
