2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
Dash of Salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. buttermilk
1 pt. mashed fig preserves
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar, eggs & oil (by hand). In a separate bowl, combine salt, soda, flour & cinnamon. Stir well until ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Add these dry ingredients, alternately with buttermilk, to the sugar/egg mixture. Mix well. Fold in figs & nuts. Pour into 11"x14" pan or muffin tins, sprayed with Pam. Bake @ 350ºF for 1 hour (or Muffins: 45 mins.)
