6 guineos verdes
1/2 taza de aceite de oliva
1/2 cucharadita de sal
1 cebolla grande rebanada
pimienta fresca a gusto (no mas de una cucharada)
vinagre o limon a gusto (aprox 1 cucharada)
4 dientes de ajo machacado y pelado
hoja de laurel

Pelar y hervir los guineos en agua con sal - Se pueden hervir los guineos con la cascara cortando las puntas y dandole un corte por el centro de arriba a abajo y desprendiendo la cascara despues de hervir. Hervir por 20 minutos asegurese que el agua cubra los guineos. Reducir la cantidad de agua para aņadir demas ingredientes. Aņadir el aceite, la sal, la cebolla rebanada, la pimienta, el limon o vinagre, el ajo y la hoja de laurel. Continuar hirviendo por 15 minutos mas sin que se seque el agua.
