1 c. Brown Sugar
1/4 c. Bisquick
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vinegar
1 c. Water
1 tsp Vanilla
1 T Butter
5 cups Apples (5-6),

Cinnamon, Sugar, Nutmeg, 1 1/2 cups Bisquick
3/4 cups (20% Cream) Milk will do!

Heat oven to 400º
Grease 9" square pan
Bake 35 minutes

Sauce: 1/4 cup Bisquick, sugar-salt-vinegar-water. Heat in sauce pan on low until thick and clear. Remove from heat. Add vanilla & butter, stir and cool.

Peel apples and cut into slices. Place apples in pan and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. (Nutmeg optional)

Mix 1 1/2 cups Bisquick and cream. Pour over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Pour sauce over all and bake for 35 minutes or longer.
