2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans DICED tomatoes
1 (28 ounce) can CRUSHED tomatoes
1 cup diced onions
1 tablespoon dried basil leaves
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, sauté onions, but do not let brown.
To the saucepan, add LIQUID from diced tomatoes. Add basil, Italian seasoning, sugar and crushed red pepper flakes. Simmer for approximately 30 minutes or until liquid is reduced by half.
Add diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes and cook until just heated, about 1 minute. Serve over favorite pasta.
