1 1/2 c butter softened
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
2 large eggs
4 tsp vanilla
4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar together with electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to sugar mixture in 3 additions mixing well after each addition. Dough will be stiff.
Use spritz gun (I use an electric one). Fill up cookie sheets with cookies, decorate and bake 10-12 minutes at 375º or just until light golden around edges. Do not overbake.

This is the recipe we use for the Zuelke Cookie baking. Mom is the only one that seems to be able to make the ribbon ones look halfway decent!
