1 3/4 c flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c shortening
1/2 peanut butter
1 egg
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg milk chocolate candy kisses
Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except candy in mixing bowl. Mix on low speed until dough forms. Roll dough into ball and roll in sugar. Place on uncreated cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for about 10 minutes. Top each cookie with a candy kiss at once when taken from oven, press firmly so the cookie cracks around candy.

Can use mini peanut butter cups or chocolate stars also. At holiday time roll the dough in green or red colored sugar.
