1 cup white sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup oleo
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 teaspoon soda

Directions:
Directions:
Filling: cook dates with sugar and water until thick. Roll out cookie dough
(add more flour if needed). Cut with cookie cutter, put date filling on one
side and fold over and pinch edges together. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or
until light brown.
