2 c. biscuit mix
2 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped walnut pieces
1/2 c. applesauce
1/3 c. milk
Optional: 1/4 c. raisins

Mix dry ingredients, then add wet. Stir just until dry mixture is moist. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450ºF for 10-12 minutes.

These are great to eat in the morning on the way to work as well as being a nice quick bread to go with pork and chicken dishes. They are almost sweet enough to be dessert!
