1 c. butter
1-3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
?? - baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in dry ingredients. Spread half of the batter on a greased 10X15" jelly roll pan. Spread pie filling over batter and then spread remaining batter on top of pie filling. Bake at 350º for 30 - 35 minutes. When cool, frost with a thin layer of powdered sugar frosting.
