1/2 C butter or margarine, softened
1/2 C shortening
1 1/2 C sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 C flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
2 Tbs. sugar 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400. Mix thoroughly butter, shortening. 11/2 cups
sugar and the eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and
salt. shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.

Mix 2 Tb. sugar the the cinnamon; roll balls in mixture. Place 2
inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes
or until set. Immediately remove from baking sheet.
