2 pink Grapefruit (Ruby Red)
4 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1 pint ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cut grapefruit in half. Remove seeds and cut sections as usual. Place on heat proof platter.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually. Beat until stiff and dry. Put a scoop of ice cream on each grapefruit half. Top with the meringue. Bake at 450º for 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
