1 c. vinegar
1-1/2 pts. water
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. salt (scant)
1/2 tsp. alum
whole cucumbers, smallish
dill
garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Clean 2 quart jars. Pack each jar with a garlic clove , head of dill and cucumbers. Bring the remaining ingredients to a boil. Pour hot liquid into each of the jars. Carefully wiping the rim before sealing. Place jars in hot water to encourage the seal.
