4 cups blackberries
1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar, to taste
1 1/2 T. cornstarch
dash cinnamon
1 T. butter
pie dough for top and bottom pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Place blackberries in saucepan and mix with sugar. Heat just to boiling and add cornstarch which has been mixed with cold water. Taste for sweetness and add to pie crust. Sprinkle with just a touch of cinnamon and dot with butter. Add top crust and seal edges. Sprinkle top crust with a bit of water and granulated sugar. Slash top crust to allow steam to escape. Bake at 425º for 10 minutes and then reduce heat to 350º for 20 minutes more or until browned.
