Directions:
Take a couple of regular potatoes, wash them and cut them into halves and place face down in a microwave safe pan and put water up to about 1/4 of the top of the pan. Place the pan with the potatoes and water into the microwave for 15 minutes and then poke a fork into the potatoes and they should be soft and ready to take out of the water and place on your plate along with some salt and pepper and some butter.

Now the sweet potatoes you wash and cut off the ends and cut the big sweet potato into chunks and slice in half. Place face down like you did the regular potatoes and cover with water. Microwave for 15 minutes until you poke a fork into the pieces of sweet potatoes and it goes in and out really easy. Then take the pieces of sweet potato and place on a plate, add butter and a little sugar or, if you can’t eat too much sugar, you can take some sweet and low and sprinkle on top and enjoy.
