3 sq. unsweetened choc.
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate over hot water, cool. Sift flour,baking powder, soda, and salt. Cream butter and brown sugar beat until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Blend in chocolate, add flour mixture alternating with milk and vanilla, mixing well after each addition. Drop by spoonfuls about 2 in apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake in oven 350º for 10 min. Cool on cake rack, spread with frosting
