1 St. Butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
2 1/4 c. flour
1 6-oz. pkg. chocolate
3/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Add soda dissolved in boiling water, flour, and salt, blend.
Add chocolate chips, vanilla, and nuts, blend. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets, bake at 350º until slightly browned.
