Crust:
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
Mix well and add:
1 tbsp. vanilla
3/4 cup flour
2/3 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Filling:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Cream Cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup sugar
1/5 tsp. vanilla
Pears (large can of Bartlett or fresh peeled)
Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Press crust into bottom of a buttered 9x9 pan (tart or square). Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
Beat filling until smooth and pour on baked crust.
Arrange pears on top of filling. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting.
