8 chicken breast halves (4 whole breasts)
8 strips bacon
1-4oz. pkg. dried beef
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1/2 pt. sour cream
Directions:
Directions:
Wrap each piece of chicken with a strip of bacon, and place on top of a piece of dried beef in a casserole dish. Combine the soup and sour cream and spoon the mixture over the chicken. Bake for 3 hours at 275º

I got this recipe from my friend, Vel. Whenever Don called at the last minute and said, "The boss is in town - is it okay if I bring him home for dinner?" this is what I often served, with rice, fresh green beans, and a salad. Dessert was usually Sara Lee frozen cheesecake with cherries on top.
