Beef Stroganoff Recipe

1 1/2 lb. beef cut into 1/8 inch pieces
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 cup beef bullion
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 glove garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion,chopped
3 Tbsp. flour
1cup sour cream
1 tbls. butter
1 tsp. poppy seed (optional)
3-4 cups egg noodles

Cook beef in marg. until brown. Stir in beef bullion (saving 1/3 cup). Add ketchup, garlic and salt. Heat to boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1-1 1/2 hours.
Stir in onion, cover, and simmer 5 minutes.
In Gravy shaker mix 1/3 cup bullion and flour, then add slowly. Heat to boiling.
Stir in sour cream, butter, and poppy seeds. Heat throughly.
