Ingredients:  
Sift together:
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Stir in:
1 cup rolled oats
1 egg, well beaten
2 Tbs shortening, melted and cooled
Juice of one orange plus water to make 1 cup

1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Pour 1/3 batter into well greased bread pan.
Sprinkle with 1 cup raisins.
Cover with remaining batter.
Bake about 1 hr at 350º.

Loaf should be stored overnight before slicing.
